I hand sew materials to create tactile collages. I work with shape, colour, and texture to explore different ideas within my work. The notion of transience permeates my pieces which are often left unfinished.

Waves of Recovery

‘Waves of Recovery,’ mixed media work approx. 39 x 30.5cm.

This piece was made during a difficult personal time. The intensive making process brought some reprieve when I was caring for my partner. There is fluidity and movement within the work - this demonstrates hope for recovery and the ways in which this ebbs and flows.
